Color Run

Color Run for Students and Community Members

On Sunday, May 21st at 1pm, The Granville PTO will host a family friendly Color Run at Granville Elementary School. This event is designed to bring the students, staff and local community together for fitness fun. Homeschoolers, parents and anyone in the community is welcome to run in one of two short races.

What’s a Color Run? Participants will receive a special t-shirt and sunglasses to protect their eyes and while they run, they will be gently sprayed with colored powder as they progress through a handful of color stations. So be sure to bring your casual clothing, a towel and water bottle as this will be messy fun!

There will be a short race for Pre-K through 4th grade and a slightly longer race for 5th grade and up, designed by GES Physical Education teacher Gabby Hunt and a team of custodians. Both races will begin from behind the elementary school and will remain on school grounds.
Registration deadline is April 21st and is $20 per participant. A select number of PTO Scholarships are available for Granville CSD students who need the registration fee covered. (Please contact your school principal and they will confidentially communicate your request to the PTO).

To download a registration form please go to and drop off registration at the GES main office by April 21st.
