Here are the list of special end-of-year events for the Senior Class of 2026.

Senior Class Trip- Thursday, June 4th and Friday, June 5th Boston, MA -Bus departs 5:00 AM on Thursday. Bags will need to be dropped off Wednesday morning to the Main Office upon arrival at school to be checked. Arrive Thursday morning at 4:45 AM to get your Carry-On bag checked and be ready for departure by 5 AM.
Mettawee Walk Through- Thursday June 4th - Mettawee Community School Students ONLY- Leave at 12:30 PM. Cap and gowns for these students will be distributed at that time.
Senior Give Back Day: Tuesday, June 11th: 8-10:30am- Our seniors are offering a helping hand with yard work, light painting touch-ups, or local community projects throughout the Village of Granville. Seniors check your email for sign up instructions. Senior Field Day will follow this event, held on school grounds.
Caps & Gowns - Friday, June 12th- Report to the auditorium at the beginning of first period to get your cap and gown. Class picture will be taken immediately after.
Class Picture - Friday, June 12th- Class picture with cap and gown will be taken on the front steps of the school.
GES/MJT WalkThrough- Friday, June 12th- Seniors will travel across the street to walk through GES with their cap and gown on. This will take place immediately following the class photo. On the return trip to school, students will stop at MJT for a walk-through and then head to the high school for a walk-through in cap and gown.
Senior Breakfast - Friday, June 12th, Rathbun’s Maple Sugar House. Departure following the Walk Through, as soon as buses are available.
Cap Return (If decorating) - Thursday, June 18th. All decorated caps must be returned by the end of the school day. Make sure your name is on it. Drop off to Ms. Vogel or Mrs. Nichols in the Main office. Caps must meet student handbook standards regarding dress code. Raised objects on the top of the cap are prohibited.
Baccalaureate - Thursday June 25th 7:00 PM- Granville Baptist Church. Informal church service put on for and by the class.
Graduation Rehearsal- Friday, June 26th from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM. Meet in the Sr. High Gym for some directions and discussions. We will line up in order and practice the procession. We will go over all elements of the ceremony. Attendance is mandatory. You will receive your class picture, report card, and tickets at the end of rehearsal.
Graduation - Friday, June 26th 6:30 PM front lawn, weather permitting- Make sure you are dressed and lined up by 6:15 PM.

Suggested Dress Attire for Graduation Picture and Graduation Ceremony
Blue Gown: A light or white dress shirt with collar looks best. A polo shirt with a collar will work as well.
Yellow Gown: A light colored dress or skirt looks best. Shorts could be worn for the picture.
Tickets
Outside Ceremony - Each student will receive 4 tickets for the outside seating. All others are welcome to bring a chair and set up on the front lawn.
Inside Ceremony - Each student will receive 4 tickets for seating on the main floor. All others are welcome to sit on the bleachers.
