Affordable Connectivity Program The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC program that helps connect families and households struggling to aord internet service. The Affordable Connectivity Program provides: • Up to $30/month discount for broadband service • Up to $75/month discount for households on qualifying Tribal lands • A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet purchased through a participating provider if the household contributes more than $10 but less than $50 toward the purchase price. The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household. This summer has been busy with professional development for our faculty & staff. Several of our wonderful kitchen staff recently attended a training In Verona NY, at Madison-Oneida BOCES. The class was called Professional Cooking and each person received 15 hours of Professional Standards Continuing Education. This class worked on sanitation, recipes, learning how to create their own recipes, knife handling and use, cooking workshops, production records, service line issues, and many other items. We cannot wait to see what our cafeteria has to offer this year! Remember we have free lunches for all students in the district again this year! Physicals for sports will be offered at the Jr/Sr High School on Thursday, August 3rd. Athletes must have a current physical on file with the school to be eligible to participate in a sport. Physicals are by appointment only and times are limited.
