The GHS Jazz Ensemble will be performing on the GHS Front Lawn starting at 6:00 pm. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music.
Today and tomorrow 3 Track and Field athletes will be competing at State Quals!
- Amber Gibbs will be competing in the 400m Dash and the 1500m Run.
- Nick Powers will be competing in Shot Put.
- Tim Pratt will be competing in the Pentathlon, which consists of five events:
110m Hurdles, High Jump, Shot put, Long Jump and the 1500m Run.

Congratulations Alaina Muise for her nomination for outstanding community service. She was among a great group of students at the recognition dinner last evening. These students were recognized and honored with a $350 reward from the Adirondack Area School Boards Association.
Alaina is not only busy with her studies, she is a member of the Granville Rescue Squad as a volunteer.

Last Saturday/Sunday, May 6/7, the annual After Prom Party was held. The purpose of this event is to provide a safe, supervised place for students to attend immediately following the Prom. The After Prom provided food, drinks, and snacks to everyone upon arrival and throughout the night. Each attendee received a door prize. In addition, a total of $4000 was randomly given out to thirteen Juniors and Seniors, and 29 grand prizes with values up to $1350 were awarded. Attendees participated in corn hole, volleyball, basketball, kick ball, dodgeball, badminton and a very competitive game of musical chairs. Thank you to all who helped make this event possible.

The GHS Junior National Honor Society has been busy! They are working on a Free Little Library Project! More to come, but they want to thank the PTO for their help with making this idea come to fruition!

The Budget Hearing is this evening at 6:oo pm before the Regular Board of Education Meeting in the High School Library.
The Varsity Unified Basketball season is now under way and we are very excited about the 2023 season. This team is amazing and they work very hard 😊🏀. Last night we had our first game against Lake George and we brought home the win!
If you are looking to end your day with a positive, please join us in cheering these student athletes on at their first home game, Monday May 8th @ 4:30 in the high school gym vs. South Glens Falls.
